This year in Blackburn with Darwen, on Friday 8th September we are:
- Encouraging local peer support groups, partners and the public to join us on a walk from Darwen to Blackburn, raising awareness and sharing messages of hope
- In the lead up to World Suicide Prevention Day, The Bureau will be putting on bespoke ‘banner making’ workshops for groups who want to work together to design their own unique banner to bring on the walk
- Holding a Vigil outside Blackburn Town Hall, where the walk finishes. This will be a 45 minute Vigil that will include invited speakers, a 40 second silence and information on Support Services
- Promoting the Orange Button Scheme and the Hub of Hope
