3. Gaming and gambling – Young people

Young people as young as 11 have been known to become addicted to gaming and buying skins and / or betting illegally on games.

BwD is working in partnership with Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council on a gambling harms awareness campaign across Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen. The campaign aims to increase understanding of gambling-related harms, reduce stigma, and make it easier for residents, families and professionals to find the right support.
