The Public Health Team commission the following organisations to provide residents, staff and volunteers with fully funded places on mental health training courses:
Re-Align Futures CIC
Re-Align Futures CIC deliver training courses on a range of mental health topics – from awareness raising sessions through to accredited training courses on mental health and suicide prevention and intervention.
These courses include:
- Mental Health First Aid
- Youth Mental Health First Aid
- safeTALK
- Suicide First Aid
- ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
- Self Harm Awareness and Minimisation
They also can provide refreshers sessions for anyone wanting to refresh their skills and knowledge.

The Adult Learning Team at Blackburn with Darwen Council provide fully funded training places on a range of wellbeing courses including Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
